As League of Legends Worlds 2022 approaches, regions throughout the world are finishing up their individual summer splits to determine which teams will advance to the most competitive Esports event in the League of Legends scene. League of Legends European Championship Summer 2022 (LEC) is the 8th European League of Legends split under the LEC banner, and Rogue has become the second team from LEC to book tickets for the Worlds 2022.
League of Legends World Championship is one of the most exciting and largest Esports events held by Riot every year, in which the top teams from every region of the world compete to become the champion. Worlds 2022 which is scheduled to take place in North America this year will be hosted by League Championship Series (LCS). According to an announcement from Riot Games, the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) will receive four spots at Worlds 2022.
G2 Esports was the first LEC team to earn a spot at Worlds 2022. The squad won the LEC Spring tournament in 2022 and advanced to the LEC Summer tournament playoffs. Rogue has secured a spot at Worlds 2022 following the conclusion of the opening Upper Bracket match in the LEC Summer Playoffs 2022 against the MAD Lions. This makes Rogue the second team after G2 Esports to head for the Worlds 2022.
