Gamescom 2022 is a home to video game reveals including Neowiz's Lies of P. Developed in-house by Neowiz, the video game company revealed about a new demo for attendees during Gamescom. More than two hours of gameplay will be available at the two stages at Xbox booth.
Lies of P was inspired by the story of Pinocchio and is an action Soulslike game having a base in dark Belle Epoque world. In the game, the players will be seen helping Pinocchio on his journey to become human.
Lies of P has brought a sudden change in its genre into something innovative. The upcoming Soulslike title of Neowiz will have players controlling Pinocchio himself. They will wake up in a city full of violence and carnage namely, Krat. Players have to keep in mind about Pinocchio's aim to become human.
The game has a gripping story with lots of tension and a deep combat system. At Gamescom 2022, Lies of P showcased some gruesome scenes while Pinocchio was swapping body parts to gain new skills and benefits.
Pinocchio had varieties of parts to equip like an arm cannon and also great weapons. The trailer had in it a world to explore with mechanical foes they will fight with.
The trailer also had wicked shovels, saws and blades etc. In fact, players can mix weapons to build new, terrifying instrument of destruction.
Pinocchio was seen bursting through windows, sliding down walls and also pushing doors open.
Unfortunately, the game has not yet received any date for its release. But it is confirmed to be available on Day One for Xbox Game Pass. Lies of P will also arrive on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC during Gamescom 2022.
