In the last 18 months, almost 1,297 Esports teams have participated in 27 Mobile Global Esports
(MOGO) tournaments in India. As per the anticipation, the growth in team entries may increase to
200 universities contending in the 70 tournaments for 10 games that have been planned for the
2022/2023 academic year.

According to Mobile Global Esports CEO David Pross, last week there was a registration going on for
the Millionaire Squad Challenge where the winning university’s Call of Duty team would win 1
million rupees along with a chance to go pro as a MOGO-sponsored team. The challenge will be held
in a four-zone format like MOGO's National Valorant and BGMI championships last year.

Apart from funding tournaments and prize pools, proceeds from MOGO's recent NASDAQ IPO are
also used in order to provide support to an Esports game development competition in India.
The head of MOGO Esports Pvt. Ltd. said that India has got some best game developers and
programmers in the world, thus an announcement has been made about an Esports game
development competition with a prize pool of $500,000.

The details are there on MOGO's website and Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter social media
accounts. The registration is going on. As per the 2022 FICCI EY Media and Entertainment Report,
active Esports players in India have doubled to 600,000 in 2021 over 2020 and now there are almost
100,000+ Esports teams.

MOGO was organized in March 2021 to expand the Esports business that was started by the Sports
Industry of India (SII) in 2016. The rights to the business were assigned to MOGO by SII in October
2021. Now MOGO is rapidly growing the Esports industry with more emphasis on Indian and South
Asian markets.
