August 18th is a grandiose day for all PUBG Mobile fans as we welcome
the onset of the 2 nd phase of the PMWI 2022 tournament named the
‘Afterparty Showdown’. The day opens up with 12 teams around the
world fighting against each other to claim victory worth US$ 1 million.
The PMWI Afterparty showdown tournament incorporates the top five
ranked teams from the main tournament PMWI 2022 (Vampire Esports,
Falcons Esports, Stalwart Esports, Nigma Galaxy and Damwon Gaming),
five nominated teams (Alpha 7 Esports, S2G Esports, RA’AD, Deadeyes
Guys, Bigetron Red Aliens) by fan votes from America, Southeast Asia,
MENA, Europe. Representing India shall be 7Sea Esports (the winner of
BGIS 2022 – the nominated team for South-East Asia) and a special
invited team - R8 Esports.
The tournament will be held from August 18th - August 20th in Riyadh,
Saudi Arabia. Fans can view the matches of Afterparty Showdown on
the official YouTube channel of PUBG Mobile Esports.
The event will be played on six different maps daily. Within three days 5
Duo Show matches will be played, and the best of all hacks a prize pool
of $15K in their pockets.
The Six different maps that shall be used for the tournament include the

The matches will be live streamed at the same time as the Main Event
(2:00 pm Riyadh Local Time, 4:30 pm IST).
The PMWI Afterparty Showdown tournament offers a prize pool of $1
million under which the winner gets $60K, the holder of the second
position gets $55K and the winner of the third position will take home
$50K.

There are other prize pool distributions of $413K in the form of match
rewards with $23k being awarded per match which accounts for about
$5K in the category of ‘Most Team Wipes’, ‘First Team Wipe’, and ‘Team
With Most Eliminations’. There’s also $2K in the category for ‘First
Elimination’, ‘First Special Elimination’, and ‘Most Special Eliminations’.
‘First Air Drop’ and ‘Most Air Drops’ will be awarded $1K.
Also, the WWCD award will distribute a prize pool money of $10K among
different categories – the Fan Favorite Player will be awarded $10K. $5K
will be offered to the player with the longest distance elimination (the
Eagle Eye award), the player with the most special Eliminations (kill by
vehicle or grenade; no Molotov), Player with the Biggest Number of
Eliminations in 60 seconds, and Player with the Most Headshots.
Indian, Korean, and Chinese content creators have been restricted from
taking part in The PMWI Watch Party Contest. The prize pool of this
