Along with a wave of three new Pokemon, some significant changes to Pokemon Unite
may be forthcoming soon. Scizor, Mew, and Dodrio are among the new Pokemon
arriving at Pokemon Unite in September, according to prolific dataminer ElChicoEevee,
whose tweets are now gone. Mew will reportedly be able to use the movements Surf
and Transform, but no more information was given on their arsenal of combat skills.
Dodrio is not a Pokemon we anticipated seeing as a playable Pokemon in Pokemon
Unite and might be an interesting inclusion given its predilection for speed. Mew and
Scizor, on the other hand, are not unexpected picks.
Other significant changes are coming to Pokemon Unite as well. The game will soon get
a new Sky Castle map with Rayquaza and Celebi on it in some form. Sky Castle, in
contrast to other variation maps, will be playable in ranked mode. Players will also have
the chance to engage Cynthia, the region's champion, in brand-new, time-limited
combat. Given that Cynthia and Ash are engaged in a highly publicised Masters
Tournament match, it is most likely a reference to the Pokemon Journeys anime.
Pokemon Unite is a free-to-play Multiplayer Online Battle Arena(MOBA)-style game with
5v5 team battles. By taking down other players and wild Pokemon, players can level up
their controlled Pokemon. Aeos Energy can be obtained from wild Pokemon, and
players can also attempt to score goals for their adversaries. Even though the game
lacks several standard Pokemon game aspects, such as type benefits, it nevertheless
manages to combine MOBA-style strategies with the original Pokemon. Although the
game is free to play, to utilise certain Pokemon in matches, users must buy Unite
Licenses from the in-game shop. Aeos Coins, an in-game currency acquired through
match play, or a premium currency acquired with real money can be used to buy Unite
Licenses.
