The latest in-game store bug in Apex Legends Mobile has confirmed that the upcoming legend to be joining the rooster of the already existing legends is the surveillance expert ‘Crypto’. An Apex Legends Mobile developer issued a statement that described the legend's unintentional launch helped to quickly solve the store glitch.
Starting from Season 1, three legends including Fade, Loba, and Rhapsody have been released in the game. With leaks suggesting the arrival of Crypto in the game, the recent store bug had raised a lot of questions as to why no official announcement hadn’t been made earlier. Although the legend was accessible and could be purchased for 750 Syndicate Gold, users couldn't use Crypto to play, which further confirmed that it must have been a store bug.
Shortly after the release, an official announcement in the game revealed that it was unintended and the Crypto store bug was fixed. “Earlier, Crypto became temporarily available in the shop. This was not intended and Crypto has been removed. Players who purchased Crypto during this time will be able to play him at a later date. We will be sending affected players Syndicate Gold to compensate them for this issue,” said the announcement.
Like all the other legends in the game, Crypto shall have a Passive, a Tactical, and an Ultimate ability. The accidental launch of the legend also revealed his perks, abilities, and finisher skills.
His specialty lies in using aerial drones to covertly spy on his rivals on the battlefield as a skilled hacker and encryption expert. The fans of this game are hyped regarding the addition of the recon legend. Players need to wait for the upcoming legend till the next mid-seasonal update titled ‘Hyperbeats’. Additionally, along with the release of the new legend, new modes and events shall also be introduced into the game as part of the next season.
