Players of Warzone have called out the removal of Plunder from the battle royale "very aggravating" and said it ought to be permanent, criticizing Raven and Activision for their decision. Like some of the other large-scale battle royale games, Call of Duty's Warzone has benefited from the addition of limited-time modes (LTMs), which broaden the available gameplay.
Plunder, an LTM in Warzone that revolves around amassing money in the middle of a major battle, has become one of the game's most well-known LTMs. Moreover, it has once more been eliminated from Season 4 Reloaded. Supporters of the mode expressed their dismay and demanded that it be made permanent, while we anticipate seeing it return in the coming years.
It is only natural for some alternatives to be rotated in and out because Raven has stated previously the company is wary of having just too many LTMs available in one go. Although Plunder has such a loyal player base, several players are dissatisfied.
"Plunder should be "permanent" in Warzone," according to Redditor eightyfps, who also added: “I hate it when I come back home from work thinking about chilling playing Warzone… and Plunder isn’t even in the playlist. There are people who just want to chill and relax. If any dev is reading this, PLEASE keep Plunder in the playlist.”
Others criticized it as "very annoying" and said that people who play traditional BR modes take them far more seriously. However, Plunder provides a more relaxed atmosphere and is geared toward players who prefer to play while lounging.
A third made light of the circumstance by suggesting that they turn off Warzone if they log in and there isn't even a Plunder option. The developers must keep things in check because having too many playlists can cause a player base to become disorganized and fractured. However, many believe that the LTM of Plunder should always be included.
Although Raven hasn't replied to the complaints, we anticipate that the popular mode will return to the rotation very soon. What matters is if it stays that way in the end.
