Half-Life: Alyx will feature an upcoming new mod called Levitation, a campaign created by the fans by imagining the after events of the game. The mod is reportedly fan-made, created by Corey Laddo and FMPONE. They have come up with this new mod which imagines the after events of Alyx. The players will require four to five hours to complete Levitation. 

The upcoming mod, Levitation, comes packed with adventures and challenges. Overall, it will keep the players on their toes and might give one of the most exciting Half-Life games experience. CS: GO designer and artist Shawn Snelling or FMPONE, G-Man meme generator and animator Corey Laddo have created this all-new mod with the help of other volunteers like animators, voice actors and modders. Levitation will be a free campaign, a DLC-sized action adventure lasting about 4 to 5 hours. 

In the PC Gamer Show 2022, a seven-minute-long gameplay trailer of Half-Life: Alyx’s latest mod reveals a stunning and polished look like the actual game. In the footage, it indicates that Alyx is out in search of some of the rogue rebels. Alongside this, she is also investigating the mysterious floating building in Sector X. Russel, or a character who sounds like him is helping Alyx on this journey and is also making references to find Gordon Freeman potentially. The trailer shows glimpses of the G-Man, skulking in the environment for which he is notoriously known. 

The G-Man is not a stranger to Corey Laddo, as he has been animating this character into hilarious and bizarre memes for years. Even though he has given G-Man a fun twist through his memes, in Levitation, Russel is the comic relief. G-Man comes in a serious canon version in this upcoming off-beat Levitation mod. 

The VR mod was a challenge for the Levitation team. It posed a lot of complications than the other modding and mapping projects which the creators of Half-Life: Alyx previously created. 

The gameplay will be familiar to the Half-Life: Alyx players as it features the same mechanics but comes with new locations. The trailer promised that the Levitation mod would officially release by this year.
