The Grand Finals of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) Season 1 has already begun. There will be the top sixteen teams who will compete in matches that will continue for a period of four days from 9th June to 12th June 2022.
As you know, Sourav "Tango" Payal is the in-game leader of the team EsportswalaXWSF which is considered to be one of the top sixteen teams to get qualified for the Grand Finals of BMPS. Previously, he was a finalist of PMCO i.e., PUBG Mobile Club Open 2020 and in this article, we will get to know about his overall journey to the current BGMI tournament. In a conversation, Tango talks about his esports journey, BGMI Lite, BMPS, etc.
He said that his overall experience is good. He loves to play BGMI and thus put a lot of effort into it in order to come up with new strategies. He also added that if we follow our passion, then we will never get any difficulty in doing a work towards which we feel dedicated. It in fact proves to be a great fun.
He began playing Classic and paid Custom matches and then he and his team came across a post of PMCO which was a free-for-all. They decided to give it a try and reached to the finals without any help and also by playing on a low-end device. This incident is itself a great inspiration for him.
During the lockdown, Tango decided to start gaming on a regular basis. He could manage his studies very well too as everything was held online. He did not get any support from his parents as they used to think that gaming can never be a career option.
Tango also loves to play Valorant apart from BGMI. Out of his own experience, he thinks that Krafton should think of a lighter version of BGMI to let people with low-end devices enjoy the game too.
He also said that open-to-all tournament provide new talents an opportunity to participate and get engaged more in esports and gaming. As their BMPS journey was filled with ups and downs, they never expected to reach to the level where they are now.
He referred to Team XO, Team SouL and OR Esports as the toughest competitors in the BMPS first season. He concluded the conversation by saying that he and his team are now motivated to play in a better way next time and to encourage others to believe that nothing is impossible. If one works really hard, the success will definitely follow them.
