Following the success of the remake of the original Destroy All Humans! game, Embracer Group and THQ Nordic made it clear that the series would continue in its renewed and improved format with Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed. This appears to be a faithful recreation of the original 2006 release, albeit with significantly improved visuals and a more robust core gameplay loop.

Reprobed appears to be one of THQ Nordic's more prominent announced projects now that the Destroy All Humans franchise is back in full swing, and the remake of the first game was well-received by the community. To capitalize on this, the publisher has just released a new trailer announcing the game's release date and showcasing more of its gameplay and cutscenes.

Much like the satirical reveal trailer for Destroy All Humans 2, the new batch of promotional materials successfully encapsulates everything that makes the franchise unique and punctuates it with wanton violence against both human and alien enemies. Most importantly, the trailer confirms that Reprobed will be released on August 30, as well as that anyone who pre-orders the game will receive access to a standalone multiplayer version of Destroy All Humans.

All Reprobed pre-order buyers will receive immediate access to the previously leaked multiplayer title Destroy All Humans: Clone Carnage. This is especially noteworthy given that Clone Carnage is a $12.99 / €12.99 / £9.99 offshoot that's now available on Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The game supports up to four-player online multiplayer, as well as two-player local multiplayer and a variety of different gameplay modes.

THQ Nordic appears to have been particularly astute in reintroducing the Destroy All Humans IP through special promotions. For example, the remake of the original was featured as part of Humble Choice for April 2022, exposing a large number of new players to the game. Reprobed appears likely to be similarly successful, which could lead to a potential new Destroy All Humans game in the long run.
