Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 3 is set to end on June 4th, and Epic Games appears to be ramping up anticipation for Season 3. Today, the publisher sent images to at least two Fortnite influencers via Twitter. The first of these images was received by YouTuber Alistair "Ali-A" Aiken, and the second was shared by Hiper an hour later. It's unclear whether these images are a preview of the upcoming "Collision" event or the start of the new season. Regardless, the two images have left many fans perplexed!
The first image from Ali-A is embedded below, while the teaser from Hiper is right here.
Erm… @FortniteGame just DM’d me this picture! 😳

Live event teaser? New season!? pic.twitter.com/6noA2l1sqI
Ali-A was recently added as the latest influencer to Fortnite's Icon Series, so it makes sense that he would be chosen for this type of promotion. Unfortunately, it's difficult to see anything in the image. Some fans speculate that it could be related to space or even the Death Star. Darth Vader has been heavily rumoured for the new Battle Pass season, and Epic Games chief creative officer Donald Mustard has recently shared hints about Star Wars content. Mustard's hints have mostly revolved around a LEGO AT-AT, but we could see a much larger Empire weapon!
With Fortnite's season finale in less than a week, fans won't have to wait long to find out what Epic Games has in store! The company has already warned fans that the Collision event will not be replayable, so those planning to attend should arrive at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, June 4th.
