If you've not noticed recently, a popular open beta survivalist game has indeed been storming the Steam charts like such a rat-up culvert. Who here is converting that rat into a sticky, wellness rodent salve? Vampires That's the person.
V Rising, a Dracula gameplay mechanic, has been declared a success. 500,000 gamers have indeed sunk their teeth into the V Rising, as per creator Stunlock Studios (you may remember them from 2017's Battlerite), which is incredible considering it only released on Steam last passing Tuesday. With a giant open universe, survival mechanisms, foundation and mining, and also PvP and PvE, cooperative and single play, it surely checks a significant population box. V Rising had roughly 95,000 simultaneous gamers on Steam when you looked after every hour, but that number has now increased to a little over 100,000 (like the damned). Well over the holiday, it is expected to continue to draw (like bleeding) additional gamers.
We here and at PC Gamer were also enjoying it. Considering some obvious parallels, Fraser argued that V Rising is much more than Valheim featuring Dracula. And, appropriately for a Dracula game, it held him awake for hours.
Jody is a Dracula as well, albeit he will not act so much like a Dracula due to V Rising's external funding collection focus. I partly agree with mainstream society, vampires don't usually spend hours breaking ore rocks with their teeth. Using a massive mace to scorch a few metal ingots still trying to have fun gradually gaining power, morphing into a werewolf, eating the lifeblood of nearby thieves, and avoiding being burned to a char by the sun during sunshine hours.
If you're willing to establish started, we have several basic instructions available, including how to create cloth, where to buy limestone bricks, or where to find serrated blades. You are scum bags Dracula, happy survival. Strengthen your armour plating and build at minimum one copper firearm to get your Gear Rank near 20, as well. Keely isn't particularly difficult, but she lives in the Robber Trapper Castle in Farbane Forests' northeast section. Thugs and their dogs abound in the castle, and there are many large robber squads on the highways surrounding it. They will be more difficult to overcome than Keely itself.
