When most people think about Minecraft, they don't think of high-octane action or general brutality. The huge universe that Mojang developed is frequently one filled with calm and creativity, with the rare moment of hazard when players go mining or exploring at night. It is one of the finest video games to induce mindfulness in players, barely missing out on the likes of Skyrim and Tetris. However, to proceed in the game, you must kill specific monsters. However, this guy has done it without killing anyone.

In a video posted a few days ago, YouTuber SwitchBackMongo demonstrated that it is possible to reach the end credits of Minecraft without killing any monsters. There were a few restrictions to the game, such as not physically killing an adversary or "directly instigating a death," such as dropping lava or using a flint and steel to set creatures on fire. Essentially, the aim was to determine if it was feasible to complete the game without the statistics reflecting that the player had slain a single monster.

This proved to be far tougher than anticipated, especially given the fact that two adversaries must be destroyed to complete the primary mission. The first is the blaze, which may be discovered in the Nether and is used to gather blaze rods. The Ender Dragon is Minecraft's last boss. SwitchBackMongo utilized a pack of wolves to kill a series of blazes, which the game does not recognize as a direct player kill, therefore it is not added to the statistics. To fight the Ender dragon without utilizing the famed exploding beds strategy, set TNT on top of a Redstone block and allow the dragon to explode it, causing damage.

While the video does not show the entire run from start to finish, the YouTuber does show bits of it, such as being able to collect food without killing animals, and at the conclusion, they open the statistics page to establish that the game did indeed report 0 kills. Several fascinating obstacles in Minecraft may be used to provide new ways to play, and what SwitchBackMongo has accomplished is rather astounding, especially considering the workaround for beating the only two monsters that must be destroyed.
