The 2022 roadmap for Total War: Warhammer III just got revealed and it has details about all the changes coming to the game in Q2, Q3, and Q4 2022. This roadmap has made it clear that Total War: Warhammer III Immortal Empires is not going to release before July 2022.

Total War: Warhammer III Immortal Empires is set to release in Q3 2022 which puts its release somewhere in July-September. Q3 is not going to be all about the release of Immortal Empires. Other than that, there will also be the arrival of mod tools with the Total War Assembly Kit.

The combined map for Total War: Warhammer III Immortal Empires combined map is coming to the game with the Update 2.0. This will unite all the three Total War: Warhammer games into a single, unified grand-scale campaign. This mode will be available as an open beta initially. According to Creative Assembly, this will grow and evolve over time.

Update 2.0 will also bring an overhaul to the races that have not been updated recently with Total War: Warhammer III’s newer mechanics. The Lord Pack I will also be arriving with Update 2.0 and will bring new legendary lords heroes, and various other units.

But you would not have to wait till Update 2.0 in Q3 for new content. In May itself, a number of balance changes will be making way to the game with Update 1.2. This update would also bring the first free Regiments of Renown unit packs. Then a second pack would come to the game in Q3 with Update 1.3

There are a number of new things that will happen with Q4 as well. Update 2.1, 2.2, or 3.0 would be coming to the game. These would have a different set of contents and fixes. Needless to mention, there are big plans for 2023 as well. But, to know more about that we would have to wait.
