There are a plethora of different animals for players to engage within Elden Ring,
each with their distinct motions, habits, and even attacks depending on whether
they're hostile or not. Elden Ring is filled with animals for players to find, ranging
from benign squirrels and shy rolling sheep to the fearsome and lethal Rune Bears.
While Elden Ring's turtle pope is by far the most popular animal among gamers,
there are other big creatures to be found in the game. There are the aforementioned
Rune Bears, as well as the smaller but hazardous ordinary bears. One of the most
fearsome monsters in the game, though, has to be the menacing Lion Guardians that
patrol around the game's castles.
DQC, a Reddit user, found that by utilizing a bow and using the lions input-reading
skills, they could train the lions to leap on demand. As a consequence, a hilarious,
almost charming clip of DQC firing arrows as a lion jumped back and forth under an
arch and a wall was created. Elden Ring adversaries are known to respond to
numerous attacks, and input reading is likely one of the reasons, but witnessing DQC
use the reading to teach their pet is a humorous diversion from the often intense
action.
Others on Reddit agreed, making jokes about the game and its antagonists. One user
joked that the game is far too simple, claiming that DQC effectively controls the AI.
Another user recalled the pre-nerf version of Elden Ring's imitation tear spirit
summons, noting that its AI used to evade strikes as well. It's even more amusing
when employing spells, according to one magic user, because many of the speedier
ones enable the lions to jump indefinitely.
The foes in the game have some incredibly quick reactions, but in the case of DQC,
they appear to have worked out how to enjoy the difficulties. While enemy dodging
might be unpleasant, it is funny to witness someone use it to tame an adversary.
