Elden ring’s recent update of 1.40 has made the game harder than ever before by modifying
the hardest enemies even harder. Elden Ring is already a punishing game loaded with tough
bosses that break spirits and the 1.40 update have lifted other heights of toughness. The
legendary hero Let Me, Solo, Her is having a tough time after patch 1.04. The current update
of Elden Ring 1.40 reports bugs from FromSoftware that permit Malenia to self-heal
unconditionally, making it harder to take a fight.
Malenia is an optional boss in the game that you can fight later. Malenia is the most powerful
demi-gods in the lore and is one tough jerk. She is the one showcased in trailers fighting the
Starscourge Radahn. In the collector’s edition of the game, most goodies are themed around
Malenia as well. She is armed with a long katana, fast strikes, and a second phase, she’ll
snatch you by your edges and drag you right to hell. It is of no help that after having to deal
with massive amounts of damage, she has a large health pool and at the same time can
self-heal whenever she lands a hit. This makes it quite a tough fight even for the skilled
players.
Malenia was already a nuisance, but with patch 1.04, she’s just broken now. According to
players online, Malenia has the power to self-heal anytime. She doesn’t have to strike you to
heal. She can just swing her sword at the air, hitting absolutely nothing, and still somehow
regain some of her health.
In a recent YouTube video Klein “LMSH” Tsuboi took almost 15 minutes to take down
Malenia describes his experience as “a nightmare to fight”, all thanks to the self-heal BS.
Nevertheless, LMSH still manages to win, But it is appreciated to not twist the facts as
LMSH, who told IGN that it took him some 242 times to beat Malenia before solo-ing her for
other players pre-patch, he too had trouble taking her down with her newfound BS powers.
