The Miis have returned to Switch Sports with a significant improvement. They'll have
improved facial characteristics, fully articulated arms and legs, and even fingers. And if
you don't like it, you can still utilize the classic Wii Sports Miis, including Mii Matt.
Mii Matt was discovered in a data mine shortly after Switch Sports was released in
February, along with a full roster of Mii Party bots. The datamine originated from the
Switch Sports playtest, but it didn't reveal anything about Mii Matt's appearance.
Today, Nintendo shared new images of the classic Miis in action. Matt, still bald and
badass, is front and center in Switch Sports Chambara game mode, holding twin
luminous sticks. In fact, he appears much more furious than he did during his Wii Sports
days.
Wii Sports popularised Mii characters, and #NintendoSwitchSports includes
Sportsmates! However, if you have any favorite Mii characters Nintendo assures,
you may recreate them on your Nintendo Switch.
Jade described Nintendo Switch Sports as a strong reboot that will appeal to
casual and hardcore gamers alike in her preview. She didn't care for the new
Miis, so I'm sure she'll be glad to see Matt's cranky visage back to Switch
Sports.
