In the latest, Halo: The Master Chief Collection has added Floodfight, an all-new firefight mode. This firefight mode is an addition to Halo 3: ODST, which plays like the traditional Firefights of Halo, but it now comes with a touch of Call of Duty’s Zombies.
Playing the Floodfight
They can either play the Floodfire mode with their friends in the lobby or join others in
Matchmaking. To play with friends, they must select the Firefight mode from the main menu. Next, click the Halo 3: ODST Custom Firefight, then the second closest tab to the map finally select Floodfight. But to play with others in Matchmaking, the players will have to select Firefight from the main menu. Next, select Matchmaking, Halo 3:ODST, and finally select
Spore Attack in the categories to set out and enjoy Floodfight.
Pointers to survive the Flood
In this mode, the players will be supported by a few of their AI allies. Depending on the map, the allies may change as they can be the Elites or the USMC Marines. Nevertheless, these AI allies will ultimately be washed away by the Flood and are just present on the map to help the players buy some time for themselves.
● The players will next need to know the location of the medkits to keep their health
bars high to survive.
● It is crucial to keep track of where the weapons will spawn.
● The players should not depend on one gun only as it might run out of bullets and be
spontaneous and should also courageously melee the Flood if needed.
● Keep an eye out for the vehicles as the driveable vehicles will let them quickly cross
the map as the Flood will drive the vehicles.
● The Floods will spawn on the edges of the map, so it is vital to avoid the edges.
● The players must drive the spawning Sentinels to the Flood to get rid of them.
● They will even get the opportunity to take control of any in-game dead body.
● Lastly, the players must not stay in one spot for too long.
Thus, players, by following these guidelines, you too can survive the intimidating Floodfight!
