Many trainers were concerned about GO Fest 2022 after all of the changes to Pokémon GO this year. Niantic has hosted a remote GO Fest for the previous two years, bringing the biggest event of the year to Trainers rather than requiring them to travel to international locations. This was due to the epidemic, and with other pandemic perks like buffed stationary Incense being removed, it's understandable that many people were scared that GO Fest might be altered as well. There is a change, but it isn't as frightening as some had feared. In-person events will be held at Pokémon GO Fest 2022. However, I am happy to report that this will not be at the expense of the remote version.

Pokemon Go fans should block out June 4 and 5 on their calendars because that's when this year's Pokemon Go Fest will take place.

Saturday, June 4, and Sunday, June 5 will be the dates for the two-day global event, with a bonus finale event on Saturday, August 27.

Pokemon Go Fest will be a live event in Germany, the United States, and Japan throughout the months of July and August for people who like to do their Pokemon training in person.

The in-person event will take place in Berlin, Germany, on July 1-3; Seattle, WA, on July 22-24; and Sapporo, Japan, on August 5-7.

It's been about three years since Pokemon Go Fest 2019 took place in Dortmund, Chicago, and Yokohama, and fans from all around the world have been enjoying the day via remote missions and fun surprises.

Last year's Pokemon Go Fest took place on July 17th and 18th, and featured hourly habitats, hourly raids, Pokemon dressed up in costumes, Pokemon related to music, the premiere of new shiny versions, and ticket holders collaborating on the Global Challenge Arena.

There were Collection Challenges to accomplish, an extra 10K XP given out during raids, players earning 10 Raid Passes by spinning discs, Timed Research, a free event bundle available in the store, event-exclusive Field Research chores, special on-map visual effects, and much more.
