Rust, a multiplayer survival game, has added new features with its latest updates. The creators promised monthly updates of the game throughout 2022 and are living up to it by adding a new rail network and a series of ziplines to its April update. Though the update initially adds rail tracks where the actual trains will appear later, the ziplines are functional and added alongside the powerlines that already existed on the maps. This latest update comes on April 7, which will add to the exciting adventure of the survival game. 

The developers of the game, Facepunch Studios, have added a course of the rail network throughout the map, adding tracks to the maps of 4250 or larger. The updated rail tracks look like a single loop that travels throughout the island. But, Facepunch has genuinely asked the players to report any abnormal-looking areas as they promise to diligently work on such matters acknowledging the players' point of view. In the announcement press release, the developers have added that future game updates will find derivable above-ground trains giving new heights to the game. 

Arguably, the significant addition to the game is the ziplines, as these are fully functioning, adding an edge to this famed survival game. To access the ziplines, the players will have to climb and reach the towers' newly added platforms or travel to close-by monuments. The ziplines come with exciting new features as well. The mechanics of the ziplining will help the players increase the speed of the travel by pressing forward, or they can completely abort by pressing the jump key. For the players opting for the ziplines, they must look for the obstacles like vehicles, trees and even other players to avoid glitches like knocking themselves off the line. 

Facepunch has promised that they have a full-fledged plan for the ziplines, involving significant network improvements, enhanced connectivity with the monuments, and even letting the players improvise and place their ziplines. Apart from these, the latest update adds new fixes like new achievements, enhanced lights on the monuments and other tweaks to the games.
