Elden Ring's mountainous difficulty has been conquered on an impressive note by a twitch streamer Seki on April 1. Seki seemed to have secured the world’s first record of no-hit / no damage run of Elden Ring unlike the accomplishment of GinoMachino.
Seki’s no-hit/no damage run was performed live in a stream and it took only 3 hours to hit the record. Later he took the announcement of his victory to Twitter by posting an image and sharing the news of his triumph on Elden Ring. He claimed that his run on Elden Ring was the “world’s first” record to which various people responded by pointing out GinoMachino and his earlier accomplishment of runs on Elden Ring. Although GinoMachino conquered the Elden ring with no hits, the accomplishment of Seki still remains different on two grounds. First, no-hit /no damage is more difficult compared to regular no-hit run damage as the players cannot take environmental damage. Secondly, the lack of access to buffs such as Red-Feathered Branchsword adds difficulty in runs because of the potential increment in the damage output.

While the entire game was being played live on stream, everyone witnessed how skillfully Seki managed to avoid all kinds of damage big or small. The stream was evident of Seki’s mindblowing performance which was completed within three hours and claimed his triumph over the most tricky challenges of the game. Assume that players playing Elden Ring accidentally fell and took some fall damage or got poisoned in a swamp, each time this happens the players need to start over. This twist makes the content even more compelling and got people's attention to check up on how Seki managed to perform so well.
Seki articulates his practice regime, which is regular consistent practice over 130 hours, attempting trial on no-hit/no-damage run. Seki, while attempting to beat Elden Ring without taking any damage, prefers a basic kit featuring a fan favourite: the Moonveil katana.
“I use a dexterity/intelligence build. My main weapon is the Moonveil katana,” explained Seki. He also uses a spell called Rock Sling to help clear out mobs in certain areas of the game.
Seki speaks of the hardest part of making the run “is far is the final boss: Elden Beast,”
“It has a specific move that is infamously unfair: Elden Stars. One of the only ways to possibly avoid it is by staggering him while he’s casting the spell. This took dozens of hours of precise practice and training to time correctly.”
Seki did fail several times before pulling this off. Seki won’t give up until he has reached a perfect ending in the game, perfection means a lot and if the final boss: Elden Ring knocked him down or did any damage, he’d restart the whole thing.
