The Witch Queen addition for Destiny 2 is one of the franchise's most popular releases, with over one million copies sold and a slew of excellent reviews prior to its release. The Witch Queen also added a slew of new features and equipment to the game, building on the foundations of previous instalments while also providing a whole new experience for players through weapon making and the Legendary campaign. Exotic goods, which are typically greatly sought-after because of their power to affect how the game is played, are also a key element of every Destiny 2 release.

Players have been particularly enthusiastic with the new SMG, Osteo Striga, which was introduced in The Witch Queen. After finishing the campaign, you can get this weapon, which fires homing projectiles that inflict a poison debuff on the opponents they strike, which works especially well with the Warlocks' Necrotic Grip gloves. Destiny 2's Osteo Striga is currently one of the greatest Exotic primaries in the game, even on other classes, because of its catalyst.

Mrstarpixel, a Reddit user, wrote a message on the platform applauding Bungie for introducing Osteo Striga, and not only for its add-clearing skills. In actuality, the player is legally blind, thus they rely on a weapon that has endless ammunition and homing missiles to better their Destiny 2 experience. Being legally blind might make it difficult to appreciate a game like Destiny 2, where aiming at a target is an integral aspect of the gameplay.

As a result, having a pistol that is tolerant of players who do not precisely aim it at the adversaries can make a significant impact. The stickiness of the bullets fired by Destiny 2's Osteo Striga appears to scale with the gun's range, with a range of 100 being ideal for this purpose. Furthermore, because of its basic damage paired with the poison damage over time, Osteo Striga is a potential Exotic for boss DPS, adding an added layer of excitement to the endgame.

Visual signals and a custom-made, 3D-printed gamepad for one of the players helped a Destiny 2 team with special needs finish the Vow of the Disciple Raid recently. This further demonstrates that, despite the lack of some accessibility features in the game, even the most difficult activities can be done by anybody with the necessary resources. As a result, Osteo Striga is already making a difference for other disabled players, and future updates may include additional things like it.
