Due to its two heroes, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has a lot of promise, but the enemy lineup appears to be equally as powerful. The major antagonists are slated to be Kraven and Venom, and fans are already speculating on how their clashes will play out. While Kraven may be able to pursue players like Taskmaster and Venom may be able to negate some of Spidey's skills, there may also be some spectacular encounters involving other opponents.
So far, the boss fights in the Marvel's Spider-Man games have been decent, but just a handful stick out. Except for Doc Ock's fight after the original game and Miles Morales' meeting with The Tinkerer in his spin-off, most boss fights have been straightforward and predictable. While none of them is particularly poor or deficient, they do not dazzle in the same way that bosses from other games do. The introduction of several interesting opponents with distinct mechanics in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has the potential to change that.
Hydro-Man because he is a water-based foe, Miles would be able to face him head-on. With Venom Blasts utilised to hurt the adversary between dodges, the young hero's electrifying powers might be the key to victory. Seeing a chunk of New York flooded may also be a fun arena to watch.

Mysterio - One of Spider-most Man's popular villains, and one that Insomniac should deploy sooner rather than later, rounds off the list. The hypothetical Mysterio encounter in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 may trap either Peter or Miles in one of the villain's bizarre illusions, with the other hero leading them through the fight. Having one Spider-Man who can see what is real and another who is trapped in Mysterio's trap may make for a thrilling battle that stresses collaboration and Miles and Peter's friendship.

Sandman - fans of Marvel's Spider-Man know that Peter has fought Sandman previously, thanks to a souvenir featuring a vial of sand. Sandman should have a tiny role in the sequel, maybe as the opening boss, similar to Rhino from Spider-Man: Miles Morales. To defeat Sandman, Peter and Miles may need to work together, with the former triggering fire hydrants and the latter beating him down. Sandman might grow in size as the conflict proceeds, adding to the spectacle. While Sandman is seldom used as a primary villain, he is a terrific minor boss and would be a wonderful way to start the game.
