Raven Software previewed the upcoming modifications to Call of Duty: Warzone. "Reloaded and Reinforced, coming weeks Rebirth Island gets a facelift," was all that was said in the tweet's content. Fans who look closely at the image of Rebirth Island Reinforced's title card may notice a map that hints at the improvements to come. It doesn't take a monocle to notice that the modified Rebirth Island has turned the security area into a fortress, and there appear to be a few ships docked. Aside from that, it'll be a mystery what's changed until the map update goes live next week at an unannounced time.
The most significant change, according to NME, appears to be the conversion of the defense sector to a stronghold, as well as the arrival of a couple of additional ships at the docks. Those wanting to see the sniper tower in Living Quarters demolished may be disappointed since it looks to still be present in the photograph.

Since December 2020, when it was released as part of the first season of Black Ops Cold War content, Rebirth Island has been available in Call of Duty: Warzone. However, the island has stayed constant since its introduction, therefore Rebirth Island Reinforced will be the island's first major overhaul.
Several Raven Software as well as Activision Blizzard employees staged a picket last year after a number of QA employees were laid off despite having been promised full-time jobs. "Activision is highly committed to the wellness of all of our teams, including our QA personnel," Activision said in a statement in January. Raven's leadership has held a meeting with its employees to hear their concerns and clarify the company's overall development investment."
