Fortnite has become a crossover for characters from iconic properties, and the battle royale game has kept a steady supply of new skins for popular characters, most notably with Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer from Uncharted. Of course, the battle royale shooter has a history of collaborating with huge future films for similar crossovers and may do so again shortly for a feature. Marvel, on the other hand, has by far the most crossover skins, with at least one more on the way. Doctor Strange, according to a new rumour, maybe visit the island shortly. 

Fans have previously speculated that the Cloak of Levitation may be used as a new traversal gear. While it's not certain that Doctor Strange will appear in Fortnite, one of his Marvel colleagues has been verified. Spider-longstanding Man's love interest Mary Jane Watson is an upcoming crossover skin, according to a freshly leaked in-game picture, also courtesy of ShiinaBR. ShiinaBR posted a screenshot of the character's attire in collaboration with users InTheShade and FMBRintel. It's worth noting that, like Green Goblin, this is the comic-book version of Mary Jane, not Zendaya's MJ from the MCU flicks. 

While we wait for additional big-name Marvel characters to appear in the game, there are many more appearing in a new tie-in comic. Fortnite X Marvel - Zero War picks off where Fortnite X Marvel - Nexus War: Thor left off, continuing the tale begun in Chapter 2 Season 4. Little more is known about the new comic, other than that everyone who buys a first print issue will receive a redeemable voucher for an in-game item from Epic Games. Although the item's identity is unknown, it may be the fabled Doctor Strange skin. 

Players will most likely have to wait a few days for further information on Chapter 3 Season 2 of Fortnite. Despite the fact that Fortnite looks to be on a Marvel kick, it may have something in store for rival DC. Another recent rumour claims that a new Batman crossover will be coming to Fortnite, implying that gamers may expect an abundance of comic book material.
