On April 5th, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be unleashed on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, and the polycarbonate platformer will feature hundreds(!) of cast members from the sci-fi franchise. Each era of the Lucasfilm behemoth will be depicted, from the prequels to the most recent trilogy. While the basic game focuses on the nine main films, the DLC will include even more characters from spin-off films and television shows.
The Collection Packs appear to be available for purchase separately as well as part of the bigger Season Pass, based on material given thus far by the Lego Star Wars game's development team. Gamers who purchase the Character Collection will acquire the first six Character Packs as they become available. You don't have to miss out on the characters from your favorite Star Wars series or film if you don't have it. So far, only a few Character Packs have been disclosed.
Two character packs will be available when the game launches in April. Heroes and villains from The Mandalorian Season 1 and Solo: A Star Wars Story are included in both sets. The Classic Characters pack and the Trooper pack will be available on launch day, but only if you have pre-ordered the game digitally. If you don't have early access, the Classic Characters pack will be available on April 19th, and the Trooper pack will be available on May 4th.
