Pokemon UNITE will soon get a new ranged attacker Pokemon. It has been revealed that Duraludon will be added to the game on 14th March. This ranged attacker Pokemon was announced during Pokemon Day, and now we have finally received all the details of its abilities. Here are all the details that we can infer from its Character Spotlight video.

Pokemon UNITE: Duraludon abilities

Duraludon is an attacker pokemon who does ranged basic attacks. One of its abilities seems to be the wider version of Stealth Rock which keeps it hidden from enemy Pokemons for a longer period of time. In the Duraludon Character Spotlight video, we can also witness that it has a passive ability that negates at least some crowd control abilities of enemy Pokemons. Duraludon also has a linear skill ability that fires in a straight line as well as its ultimate ability looks like a massive area of effect attack.

Pokemon UNITE: Latest Pokemon additions

Pokemon UNITE has constantly been adding new members to its playable roster. Duraludon will be the latest addition while before it, other powerful Pokemons like Trevenant, Hoopa, and Aegislash have also been introduced over the past few months. Each new Pokemon added brings in new strategies and gameplay combinations. The addition of Hoopa broke the meta in the game as it was the first Pokemon to have long-range teleportation abilities. 

Pokemon UNITE: Game Details

If you are a fan of the Pokemon franchise, you should try out Pokemon UNITE and battle with your friends against other online players. Pokemon UNITE is a MOBA-style free-to-play game that has 5v5 team battles. Each player can control a single Pokemon and level it up by defeating wild Pokemon and rival Pokemons. Players also need to collect Aeos Energy dropped by wild Pokemons and enemy Pokemons. This Aeos Energy is then used to score goals on the opponent's side. 

Pokemon UNITE does not fall under the traditional MOBA setting but that is what makes it unique. Moreover, each game is limited to only 10 minutes. Thus, it provides players a fixed time to play and enjoy the game. Although the game is free-to-play, players have to purchase Unite Licenses from the in-game store in order to use those Pokemon in matches. Unite Licenses can be purchased either using Aeos Coins, an in-game currency earned by playing matches or using a premium currency purchased with real-world money.
