Popular Twitch star Asmongold grilled the players of WOW stating these players have selective memory, as he couldn’t figure out the reason behind the excitement on old expansions of the game. He has been playing the game from the very start, with a chance to explore the game extensively through all of the eight expansions of the game. 

The shadowlands expansion was not quite impressive and was largely turned down by the fanbase who had some major worries about the storyline, thereby drawing a negative impression. Asmongold doesn’t seem to agree with the other players and added that people who are fond of old expansions don’t realize the value of the present one.

According to Asmongold, Warlords of Draenor is the worst ever expansion of WOW. On 11 March, he went live where he reacted to a meme that had appreciated Warlords of Draenor as the fifth expansion of WOW.

“Let me be honest with you guys, Warlords of Draenor was the worst expansion that we’ve ever had. There has never been a worse expansion, it’s not even close. The only reason why you enjoyed WoD more is probably that you had more time to play in 2014.” He further added that Draenor isn’t better than shadowlands, in fact, he considered shadowlands to be far better in terms of the storyline and other different things.

He further said, “People don’t remember how bad it was because they have selective memory. I don’t know why. The only reason why people were okay with WoD more than Shadowlands was because WoD was the first time Blizzard has f**ked them in the ass and with Shadowlands, it’s the third time, people don’t want to go for a hat-trick.”

Although Asmongold is skeptical regarding the progress of the company, he still appreciated the company’s initiative to introduce the mobile version of WOW and believes it to be a brilliant idea.
