Grand Theft Auto 5 and Grand Theft Auto Online will both be released on new-gen devices on 15th March and thereafter Rockstar Games have disclosed a menu of improvements alongside its launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. From March 8, both GTA 5 and GTA Online will be available for pre-order and pre-loading on new-gen platforms. In April, physical releases will be available.
New-gen customers will be able to choose between three detailed new graphical settings, according to Rockstar.
Constancy Mode, for example, is optimized for the highest visual high quality and aims at 30 frames per second. With ray tracing enabled, whilst the Xbox Sequence S supports upscaled 4K resolution.
There's also an Efficiency Mode that aims at 60 frames per second for even more intuitive gameplay. Both PS5 and Xbox Sequence X provide prerendered 4k graphics in this mode, whilst the Xbox Sequence S supports a 1080p resolution.
In addition, the Efficient RT mode combines the Constancy and Efficiency modes to allow upscaled 4K resolution with ray tracing and a 60 FPS target.
GTA Online players can also look forward to an additional Los Santos Car Meet called Hao's Special Works, which includes "best-in-class vehicle upgrades, a new class of Races Hao's Special Works Time Trials, as well as a Premium Test Ride."
Finally, there alongside all these there will be a new Career building Function. It was created with new players in mind, as well as anyone who wishes to reset their character and start over. Rockstar will be awarding GTA$4,000,000 to pick basics such as Business Properties, Vehicles, and Weapons to assist these players.
