Rainbow Six Siege’s last season, Y6S4, High Calibre finally came to an end on February 21, 2022. Now, we are on our way to getting the upcoming Y7S1, Demon Veil. By now, you must have already heard all that is happening with the new season. But, what many do not know yet, is when exactly is this new season coming to the game. According to a new tweet from marketing director, Laure Guilbert, it seems that Year 7 Season 1 Demon Veil is set to release just the next week, on March 15, 2022.

What are we getting with the new Operation?

New Operator

There is a lot that is happening with this new, upcoming Y7S1. Firstly, there will be a new Operator called Azami who has an extremely powerful, and unique kunai knife that can be used to deploy bulletproof covers easily. And, it can even be used for making new peek angles and thus has a lot of functionality. Apart from her unique gadget, she can also repair holes and breaches.

New Map

There will also be a new map, called Emerald Plains. This map would not be available in the game right with the release, but instead, would be added in the game later in the season.

Game Modes

Now, a lot is happening this season when it comes to game modes. We would be getting a Team Deathmatch game mode, an in-game event, and also an Arcade playlist. The Team Deathmatch mode would stay here permanently. Unlike previously when it was added to the game temporarily.

And, that is not all, there is obviously going to be a new Battle Pass, along with lots of balancing changes, bug fixes, quality of life changes, etc. So, all in all, there is quite a lot to look forward to when it comes to Rainbow Six Siege’s next season. And, from what we have heard recently, it seems that it is happening just this next week, on March 15, 2022.
