Iron Gate officially released Valheim update 0.207.20 a brand new update earlier today (March 1), bringing a slew of new fixes and content to the game on Steam, which includes entire Steam Deck support as well as additional features and content. The update necessitates a fresh location-allocation of the game worlds, which may result in marginally longer loading times the first time you access them - and it may alter certain placements as per the location. The Frost Caves will only arise in regions that have never been explored before.
In addition, to complete controller support, the update adds a new single-player pause option Controller Support and Single-Player Pause Function. If you're playing alone, you can now take a break without fear of being discovered by a troll!". Additionally, while minimized, this patch includes a feature that reduces GPU consumption.
