The drivers will soon be able to enjoy with Tesla cars on Steam's library. Even Elon Musk has confirmed that testing is going on in order to bring Steam games on future Tesla cars.
It is confirmed that the company is working really hard to make Steam's library of games work properly on Tesla's software. They're also looking forward to make it long-term.
For now, Teslas can play few games like The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 and Cuphead. The entertainment will reach to another level with the arrival of cars that can drive themselves.
The company is also developing Tesla Arcade, a video game platform which is working with gaming studios to port games. A team of software engineers is working on video games in Seattle and likewise another team is expected to work in Austin.
In the matter of processing power the onboard hardware is on-par with PS5 and Xbox Series X. Infact, last year at Computex conference, AMD's CEO mentioned that they will be working soon with Tesla in order to give out Ryzen APUs.
Tesla's updated version consists of a 17-inch display and AMD Navi 23 graphics. The company is quite confidential in the matter of keeping the informations regarding AMD GPU concealed but still rumours say that it features around 28 Compute Units clocked up at 2.8 GHz.
It is still not known when Tesla is planning to hit the Steam library on future vehicles which will run on electric. The in-car gaming was first introduced in "Cuphead" by an American electric vehicle maker.
Since then, the number of games has increased on Tesla EV screen. With the arrival of Steam games, users of Tesla Arcade will get almost tens of thousands of video games on the platform.
Musk has not yet disclosed the exact date for the release of Tesla vehicles. But it is predicted that the updates mentioned before will roll out in the Tesla Arcade of Model S and Model X in 2023.
