The Russian Federation launched an invasion of Ukraine with tanks, planes, and armed soldiers yesterday. 137 Ukrainians are estimated to have died so far in Europe's worst ground assault since World War II, with hundreds more injured.
The overwhelming majority of world powers have condemned Russia's attack on its neighbour and expressed support with the Ukrainian people as they face this unprecedented onslaught. Not only do national governments support Ukraine, but so do gaming developers. Bungie's Game2Give charity effort has just stated that it will give to Ukrainian causes, while CD Projekt Red has just announced that it will donate to a Polish-based humanitarian organisation.
The recent invasion on Ukraine, our friends and neighbours, left us shocked and outraged.

In solidarity with all victims of this act of aggression, the CD PROJEKT Group has decided to support humanitarian aid efforts by donating 1 million PLN to the @PAH_org (1/2)
Frogwares, Vostok Games, and Sengi Games, among others, have issued statements on social media condemning Russia's actions, while others have urged for more active support. 11 Bit Studio, GOG.com, CD Projekt's PC digital marketplaces' revenues collected from the selling of games including its DLCs, will be donated to a dedicated fund across all stores and platforms. Yevhen8, the indie studio behind Ostriv, a city-building game set in 18th-century Ukraine, simply provided a link to a Reddit topic listing 29 charities that are helping victims of the war or other challenges that people in Ukraine are facing. This amount will be donated to the Ukrainian Red Cross after seven days to help victims of the country's war.
Team Liquid, a professional esports organisation with properties in the Netherlands, has also welcomed displaced Ukrainian gamers to stay.
