Rainbow Six Siege is entering its seventh year soon. As usual, each year will have four new seasons that would bring new operators, map reworks, various balance, quality of life changes, etc. But, now we have a detailed overview of what this new year of Rainbow Six Siege will be bringing to the table. In the recently held Rainbow Six 2022 Invitational, the Year 7 roadmap of the game was officially revealed, and here is what the game will be having this year. Well, with the latest Operation Demon Veil reveal, we already know what is happening with Season 1. There will be a new map called Emerald Plains, then there is also the new operator, the Defender from Japan, Azami. Then, you also have a new permanent team deathmatch game. Other than that, there is obviously a number of quality of life changes, balance reworks, etc.

Moving on to Season 2, there will be a new Belgium Operator with this season, along with a new team deathmatch map, and a new event. There will also be a new Arcade mode. Furthermore, there will be a shooting range added, where players can experiment with various weapons, and attachments to understand what it will actually be like in combat. Then, there will be an in-match menu of operator tips that would help new players in learning more about how to use the Operator.

With Season 3, a new Singaporean Operator will be coming to the game. And, just like the previous Year 7 Season 2, it would also be bringing a new map and a new evens. But, the most outstanding change with this season will be Ranked 2.0. It will change how the ranked system currently works in a major way. Every player will now start from the lowest rank, Copper, and make way to higher ranks. Only 100 points are required for each rank up, and each rank up would also reward the players.

Finally, in the last season of Year 7, we would get a Colombian operator, and get to see the addition of a permanent arcade mode. This Arcade mode will be rotational and change every week. This would cycle between Attrition, Legacy, Golden Gun, and Headshot. There would be no new map added with this Season.

While we’ve already seen that team deathmatch is becoming a permanent mode next season, by the end of Year 7 there’ll also be a new permanent arcade mode that’ll rotate between Golden Gun, Attrition, Legacy, and Headshot on a weekly basis. Then, there are also the new reputation system changes that would happen from Season 2 of this year to Season 4, and thus improve the player experience in terms of interaction with other players.

So, there is indeed a lot that Ubisoft has in plan for Rainbow Six Siege this year, and I bet, Siege players are surely hyped, and excited for all these changes.
