At the 14th edition of the IESF World Championship later this year in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia, esports athletes around the world will be seen competing on the prestigious global stage.
Founded in 2008 by nine nations, IESF consists of over 111 member federations across five continents. IESF strives to create a cohesive ecosystem for all those involved in Esports. In addition to the IESF Esports World Championship, IESF organises the Global Esports Executive Summit in order to support the highest standards of Esports governance worldwide.

IESF has officially named Indonesia as the host city of the 2018 IESF World Championship. Jakarta was also the host city for the 8th IeSF World Championship in 2016.

The International Esports Federation (IESF) has revealed the six games that will be featured in the 2022 World Esports Championships. Over 120 nations are expected to compete in IESF's flagship event, which will be held in Bali, Indonesia.

Late last year, Bali, often referred to as "the Island of the Gods," played host to Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Indonesia Season 8. The league accumulated 76.9 million viewing hours to come in as the third most-watched esports event in the world

According to the International Esports Federation (IESF), the 14th IESF World Championship, which will take place in November, will feature six esports titles: CS:GO, Dota 2, Tekken 7, eFootballTM series, PUBG Mobile, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

"The inclusion of these six spectacular titles in the 2022 WE Championships supports our mission of uniting, supporting, and promoting the World Esports Family," said IESF General Secretary Boban Totovski. He also added “Together, we are working towards a more inclusive and accessible esports community through our continued collaboration with publishers, the inclusion of two new mobile titles, and the start of the first CS:GO female tournament this year."

Over 100 member countries will be represented at the event, which will take place from November 27 to December 9. National federations will be able to register on February 20.
