A few weeks ago it appeared that the Jidion Pokimane drama has a long way to go before getting settled. Even if it seemed to fade away slowly, none had ever imagined the controversy to end on such a friendly note. As promised, they recently came up with a collaborative video touching on a wide range of topics concerning the heated debate over a casual mukbang broadcast.

The drama kicked in with Jidion’s community hate raiding Pokimane on her Twitch stream. Needless to say, mayhem broke out with Poki getting targeted on various social media platforms and many big names getting involved in it. Following the harassment, Twitch suspended Jidion on Twitch for violating the disciplinary guidelines. 

However, Jidion was quick enough to apologize for his actions, starting with written posts to videos claiming to improve his behaviour in the future. Moreover, he appealed to his fans to urge Twitch to revert his ban. Things got out of hand with the inclusion of the Fortnite star Ninja in the controversy who allegedly tried reinstating Jidion on Twitch and later his wife Jessica Blevins threatened to sue Pokimane over defamation.

In the meantime, Twitch star Pokimane got vocal regarding the online harassment and the existing misogyny she faced regularly with the support of many of her friends cum popular streamers including Mizkif, Valkyrae and others. However, in an unexpected turn of events, Jidion posted a selfie with Pokimane confirming to come up with a collaborative video with the Moroccan Canadian streamer. This not only hinted at the possibility of the settlement of the ongoing beef between the two but also shed light on a potential friendship they might have agreed upon.

As the video came out on February 15, it showed the two getting together for a mukbang to discuss the controversy providing their own perspectives. Jidion admitted his fault over hate raiding Pokimane and claimed that he is a cool person who doesn’t like amplifying enmity. Pokimane further assured to have forgiven him and doesn’t consider him to be a “sexist or a misogynist,” but merely thinks he “exhibited certain behaviors or said certain things that you didn’t realize are kinda sexist.” 

Jidion also shared good words about Pokimane and said, “Poki is good with me”.“I f**k with Poki. You guys f**k with Poki. Ninja, please don’t sue her. She’s cool”, he continued. This video which is currently receiving massive views on YouTube, is also filled with kind and encouraging comments from viewers who appreciate the fact that the two went ahead to quash the bitterness between them.
