GTA Online got The Contract as its newest story expansion. The Contract is all about Franklin working with Dr. Dre to retrieve some stolen recordings. The Contract was released back in December 15, 2021, and it brought lots of new content including new missions, music, vehicles, Adversary Modes, and a lot of other interesting new content. Anyway, among the various additions with this update, one of the most interesting ones is Short Trips with Franklin and Lamar. However, this was locked behind The Dr. Dre VIP Contract. Anyway, now it seems that all the GTA Online players can play these missions without completing The Contract. These missions would be available directly through the  Jobs Menu in the game.

Furthermore, there is also double GTA $ and RP bonus going on currently with it. The double GTA$ and RP bonus will be available till February 16, 2022. The story is all about Lamar and Franklin, the duo that we get to see near the beginning of GTA V main story. Lamar now runs his own cannabis dispensary chain, and he is getting help from one of the protagonists of GTA V, Franklin, who also happens to be one of his best buddies.
