With the successful launch of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, many players are now looking forward to the release of its DLC that will add new gameplay content. Currently, most players have completed the story of the Hisui region in Pokemon Legends: Arceus and are now just grinding to capture a shiny variant of every Pokemon present inside the game. It can get repetitive soon but thankfully, there have been many leaks that show that a DLC for the game is in the works.

Will players receive the DLC on Pokemon Day?

There have been leaks from various sources that confirm that Game Freak, the developer of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, is working on new DLC content. Most probably, this update will be a small one and may soon be released during Pokemon Day.

The leaks started appearing after some players had commented that the lack of online battle features will make Pokemon Legends: Arceus boring. As players are currently busy catching Shiny Pokemons, their appeal for the game may diminish when this objective gets completed. But, many popular content creators of the Pokemon community have hinted at the release of new DLC soon. SoulSilverArt has tweeted about the possible upcoming DLC content details. Moreover, he has also tagged photos that can confirm some of these leaks from various sources.

Still, all these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt as none of them has been confirmed officially. The dev team at Game Freak has not yet released any information regarding Generation 9 of Pokemons, which is quite different from their past approach. Instead, they have focused on the Pokemon Legends: Arceus project and hence many people are speculating that we will not receive any announcements of Gen 9 on this Pokemon Day. Most probably, a new DLC will be dropped for Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
