We all must be aware of the Pokimane Jidion drama that took the Internet by storm last month. Following this, big personalities and streamers split into differing opinions and also shed light on the persisting misogyny prevalent on various social media platforms. However, in an unexpected turn of events, Jidion revealed an upcoming video collaboration with Twitch star Pokimane.
This kerfuffle began with Jidion directing his community to hate raid Pokimane on her livestream. Hurling abuses at her and her viewers this harassment forced her to stop the stream midway. This prompted Twitch to suspend Jidion from Twitch only to permanently ban him from the purple platform later.
Though Jidion apologized for his actions, the drama blew out of proportion with the involvement of Fortnite star Ninja and his wife Jessica Blevins who threatened to take legal actions against Pokimane. Nevertheless, the Moroccan-Canadian streamer addressed the online harassment she was facing from her haters, with many from the industry coming in to support her.
At a time when it seemed this drama has a long way to go before getting settled, both Jidion and Pokimane surprised everyone with a recent picture of them sitting side by side and biting on burgers. Furthermore, Jidion disclosed on Instagram about a recent Q&A session with none other than Pokimane, taking a step ahead to get over the animosity that had crept in after the hate raid.
