Valorant is constantly updating their game in order to improve their meta. Agent buffs/nerfs, map changes, and weapon economy changes are there along constant upgrades of various in-game elements. . Valorant Episode 4 Act 2 is almost here, but there will be no new Agents or maps. Instead, the next major update will concentrate on major reworks for Yoru, Icebox, and others — here's what we know so far.
New Game Mode based on Control and Capture
Valorant is planning to release yet another new game mode in the game's upcoming updates. This is expected to be another entertaining game mode to be featured alongside Snowball Fight, Replication, and Escalation. The new game mode, according to the data miners, would revolve around the theme of capturing points with both teams competing for the best score. This mode is very popular in games like Call of Duty and Halo Infinite where the team that manages to capture and hold specific areas for longer durations gets rewarded with more points

He shared a picture of how the system might work, along with some additional information. Players will receive a box after a win or daily login under the Act Point System. They may receive Act Points for unlocking the boxes, which will allow them to advance in the game.

Valorant's developers will most likely make significant changes to the Icebox map in future game updates. Data miners recently revealed some potential map changes. According to the leaked information, developers intend to rework both the A and B sites, including changes to the Yellow Box and Garage. These changes are expected to give players more playability on the map, making it more difficult and competitive.
Most of these changes (such as placing a double box on B or converting a half-box on A into a full box) aim to make Defenders' lives easier, which appears to be Riot's goal - to make maps as balanced as possible. And, in general, let's agree that Icebox is a good place to start.
Agent Yoru Rework will be Priority
Yoru is currently in disarray. When it comes to professional play, the agent is rarely chosen. According to ValoraBuff, he was not picked once during VALORANT Champions 2021, which ended in the middle of December.
Riot outlined the specific changes it intends to make to Yoru at the beginning of December. The developers hope that players will have "better tools to trick opponents, a stronger baseline value across his kit, and a higher impact per round." To accomplish this, they will primarily focus on his Fakeout and Gatecrash abilities.
