Battlefield 2042 has been released quite a while back now. However, it seems that the game is still not perfect. By perfect, we do not mean in terms of being the perfect game that is going to appease everyone, but perfect in the sense of not having any bugs, glitches, etc. Battlefield 2042 is a long way from that. Season One for Battlefield 2042 was supposed to release some time shortly. However, now that is not going to happen, as DICE has announced that the Season One update has been pushed back all the way to the summer of 2022. This delay would provide them with sufficient time to get all the issues that they and the players want to be ironed out. The developer says that it is planning on incorporating a player feedback loop, and various fixes and changes before they release the first season for the game. Check out the main announcement by clicking here.
Although the first battle pass and the first season for Battlefield 2042 are not happening in the near future, it does not mean that the players have nothing to look forward to. While the developers try to fix the game’s issues, they will also be adding some interesting features in the meantime that should result in a better gameplay experience. The new announcement delves into details on what we can expect in the near future. There will be a new, and updated scoreboard that would contain various necessary details of the players on the server. Other than that, there will also be the arrival of voice communication (VOIP). This was something which I believe should have happened long ago, as in such games communication can be really beneficial. However, the announcement states that this is just the beginning of the various improvements that they are bringing to the game that can enhance team play, and also communications.
Finally, there is also the brand new player profile interface. This would allow the players to get a clearer, and better overview of their career in the game, the progression, and how far are they from their next unlock. Other than that, the post also talks about the new feedback loop that the developers are soon planning on implementing. This would help them get better player feedback, and thus improvise the game according to it. This sounds really interesting. After all, that is something players would always want right? Developers listening to their feedback and making changes according to it.
