So, it has been quite some time that we have heard about the new changes that are coming to Apex Legends with its Season 12, Defiance. But, now, thanks to a new gameplay trailer of Apex Legends: Defiance we finally know in detail about what kind of new additions there will be. Firstly, there is the new Legend, Mad Maggie, but we have already known about it, and then there is also the new 9v9 game mode, Control. And, we also got a hint that indicated a new, updated, and revamped Olympus. However, today, we finally get to see all of it in action with the new gameplay trailer. Furthermore, we also get to know what will be the rewards with the 3 Year Anniversary. Thee will be Legends, Thematic, Legendary Packs, and lots of new unique cosmetic sets. There will be three weeks of special rewards, and that is not all. We will also be having a new Battle Pass, but at this point, a new Battle Pass for a new season is something we definitely knew would be coming. Check out the trailer below to know all that is happening:

The game mode is something FPS lovers would definitely enjoy playing. Apex Legends is a battle royale, FPS game, however, with the new limited-time game mode, Control, it would allow the players to experience continuous FPS experience, and much less of the battle royale elements. It is like the Capture The Zone mode we have seen in various FPS games. The mechanics here are just the same. It is a 9v9 mode, there will be two teams with 9 players in each. The players will have infinite respawns. The teams would have to capture, or rather control three points throughout the map, and the longer they hold these points, the more points they would get. The team that reaches 1250 points first, wins it. Simple. This mode will be playable for the first three weeks of the season.

We also got to see Mad Maggie in action, her tactical is a Riot Drill that can stick to walls and fires a burst of flames through the surface. Her ultimate is the Wrecking Ball. It is a ball that bounces, and that boost pads on the places where it bounces, and the ball explodes when enemies are in proximity. Also, she has a unique trait that allows her to run faster with shotguns equipped.

Then, we have the new Sabotaged Olympus, which is the revamped and updated Olympus. It looks fresh. I recommend you check out the actual trailer to see what it has on offer. Moving on to the third-anniversary event, players would be able to unlock Octane, Wattson, and Valkyrie and also get Thematic and Legendary Packs as part of Login bonuses. Furthermore, there would be lots of new, stylish cosmetic sets for the Legends. And, there will be the new Battle Pass.

So, all in all, there is a lot to look forward to with Apex Legends: Defiance. And, it is just releasing next week on February 8, 2022.
