Death Stranding Director’s Cut is finally coming to PC, and the release is not too far. It is set to release on March 30, 2022, and it has been officially announced by the publisher, 505 Games. The Director’s Cut version would be available for PC in Steam, as well as Epic Games Store. Talking of the pricing, the standalone version of the Director’s Cut would cost $39.99. Then again it would be different for different regions. Furthermore, if you already own the game on any of these platforms, you can also upgrade it by paying a mere 10$. One thing to note is that it might not be 10$ at every place, as regional pricing exists. That is not all, if you have the original game, you can also transfer the progress from the original to the new Director’s Cut. So, you would not have to play from the beginning all over again.
In the event, that you do not own the base version of the game, now is a really good time as there is the Steam Lunar Sale going on and the game is available at a 70% discount. This makes it very much cheap, and later, you would just need to spend an additional 10$ or so just to get the Director’s Cut. So, you should most definitely get it, that is if you plan on getting the Death Stranding Director’s Cut right when it launches, and want to get it done in the cheapest way possible.
Death Stranding is a great game if you love a game with stunning visuals, an amazing open-world experience, and literally, makes you feel like you are living in a world that has faced a cataclysmic event and trying to survive against various paranormal, and human threats.
With the Director’s Cut, there is a number of changes and additions to the game. Most of them are aimed towards providing a fresher experience, and also improving the overall gameplay. Exploring and navigation were significantly improved from the original, and since it is a major part of the game, that was a very welcome change. Not to mention, it also contains new locations, missing, and various new equipment as well. Overall, it is just a better, and improved Death Stranding through and through. So, if you loved the original, and wanted some new extra content along with improved gameplay, then the Director’s Cut is completely worth having.
