Smite is a free to play MOBA like DOTA 2 and League of Legends. It had its unique set of characters on release, and over the years it got even more. In Smite it is all about various Gods and Pantheons. However, now it seems that even the Transformers are going to be in the game. So, yes there are going to be robots in a game that is all about Gods and Pantheons. Well, at least these would not be new characters, and instead just skins for the existing characters, so there is that.

All of this happening due to the upcoming Battle Pass of Smite. A new cinematic reveal trailer just got posted about the upcoming Battle Pass for Smite, and that does show that Hasbro’s Transformers will be joining the battle with this upcoming Battle Pass. The Smite x Transformers Battle Pass in question here will be available on November 16, 2021. So, just like three weeks or so from now. There have been unique crossovers such as this before as well. This includes Stranger things, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc. And, now after a few weeks, it seems that The Transformers would be here as well.

As said before, these are just skins of the Transformers that can be applied on some specific Smite Gods. So, Megatron is a skin for Ra, Optimus Prime for Geb, and Starscream for Jung Wei. However, with this, the characters would literally play just like the Transformers. For example, Megatron turns into a tank, Optimus Prime turns into the truck, etc. Furthermore, these skins come in two varieties. Firstly, there is the modern version with modern textures. And, then there is the cel-shaded version which looks just like the original cartoon. You can check out the trailer below to know more about it:
