According to his teammates, veteran CS:GO player Michael "MAiNLiNE" Jaber went away at the age of 26.
Joel "jcrueL" Cruel, a former teammate and current VALORANT player with Complexity, broke the news to him. On Twitter, he gave an update. "I wish I had checked in with you more often, brother, Rest In Peace." Those CS:GO teams and the hours we spent at the LAN will always be among my favorite memories."

Former coach Steve "Ryu" Rattacasa, who mentored MAiNLiNE, also expressed his condolences on his demise. "He was the kindest, funniest partner I've ever had the pleasure of competing with." I've never laughed as hard or as often as I did when he was on the team. He had such amazing passion, and his catchy tunes always make me grin."
.@Mainlinecsgo was the most humble, hilarious teammate I've ever had the pleasure of competing with.

I have never laughed harder or more consistently than I did with him on the team. He carried such a contagious enthusiasm and his catch phrases still put a smile on my face.
MAiNLiNE was a fixture in competitive CS:GO in North America, and he was a familiar face. He played for numerous teams during his active career, including eUnited, Method, enemy, and Selfless Gaming, winning Fragadelphia 10 in January 2017. He switched to teaching after his active playing career and many of his former teammates or players who he mentored as a coach went on to become prominent names in the CS:GO community.
