Mods are also supported on the PC in Diablo 2: Resurrected, at least in single player. Some fans have used this as an opportunity to improve the game and radically change the gameplay experience.
Diablo 2: Resurrected is a well-received recreation of Blizzard's famous action role-playing game. However, there are a few minor faults. The game, thankfully, allows mods in single player mode, at least on PC, so fans may make do with these free tweaks.
Larger inventory, fast speed, and more
The Nexusmods platform now has nearly 30 mods that alter Diablo 2: Resurrected's single player experience, sometimes more, sometimes less. We'd like to introduce two of them right now.
The start is made by the Mod Better SP: This mod was created using the Diablo-2-Mod PlugY as a foundation. As a result, Better SP has a far larger inventory (including the available space in the Horadrim cube and the storage box). The mod also includes the following features:
increased running speed
reduced stamina consumption
increased mana regeneration
Skills can be used in all settlements and cities
Runes are numbered
Item levels are visible
new characters start with Horadrim Cube
new necromancers, amazons and druids start with bows and arrows in the inventory
Volume and key limit increased to 50
Arrows and bolts limit increased to 500
increased drop rates for various item types
Adjustments to individual types of monsters
Cow level adjusted to area level 99
new horadrim cube recipes
The second mod, Zander's Singleplayer Overhaul, follows a similar path, but focuses mostly on adjusting item drop rates as well as several quality-of-life improvements:
Drop rate for various items increased
Adjustments to the drop system for gemstones
more loot from chests
superior items have perfect attributes
Adjusted level requirements for various items
Adjusted loot from bosses
various changes to the recipes of the Horadrim cube
larger inventory
no stamina loss
no experience point penalty at higher levels
Better SP and Zander's Singleplayer Overhaul are both free to use. But keep in mind with both mods: Mods are only available in single player and offline modes in Diablo 2: Resurrected. Modifications are not permitted in the online mode.
