The Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: Definitive Edition is something definitely a lot of people are looking forward to. Especially, those like me who grew up playing the older GTA games such as Vice City, San Andreas, and GTA III. It has been some time that we first heard of it, and it got confirmed around the start of this month. However, we did not know what kind of improvements to expect. Like we knew there would be visual upgrades and control updates, but we did not know to which extent. Finally, we finally have got a new trailer that shows in-game footage for all the three remastered titles. And, we also have the release date, screenshots, and system requirements for the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: Definitive Edition.
So, for those of you who are unaware, the Trilogy consists of three of the popular GTA games. Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and finally, San Andreas. All of these games have been remastered with better visuals, textures, VFX, and a completely rebuilt lighting system. Another improvement is that in regards to the controls. These games will have GTA V-like controls. Not to mention there will also be some quality of life improvements.
But, when does the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: Definitive Edition release? It is set to release on November 11, 2021. As for pricing, it is set to $59.99. And, when it comes to PC it is only available on Rockstar Games launcher. Other than that it will also be available on other platforms such as PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
Talking of the system requirements, here are the minimum, and recommended system requirements for Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: Definitive Edition:
Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: Definitive Edition Minimum System Requirements:
Operating System / OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor / CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K / AMD FX-6300
Memory / RAM: 8GB
Graphics Card / GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB
Storage: 45 GB
Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: Definitive Edition Recommended System Requirements:
Operating System / OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor / CPU: Intel Core i7-2700K / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Memory / RAM: 16 GB
Graphics Card / GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB / AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB
Storage: 45 GB
So, the system requirements are not that high from just viewing it. But, one thing to note is that these requirements are higher than what the trailer and the screenshots make the game look like.
