Sea of Thieves has been around for quite some time now. In fact, it has been more than three years now. After all, it was launched back in March 2018. Anyway, since then the game has changed a lot, got a lot of new updates, content, features, etc. And, most importantly, it got a lot of new players. Now, Sea of Thieves has hit the 25 million players mark. And, in celebration of that, it is giving away lots of gold, and doubloons to every player that plays the game.
To be specific, every player would be getting 25,000 gold, and 25 doubloons if they log in to Sea of Thieves anytime before October 26, 2021, at 7 AM PDT / 10 AM EDT / 3 PM BS, which means around 7 PM IST. Who does not like free gold and doubloons in Sea of Thieves? Furthermore, if you are lucky, then you might even end up getting 25 million gold. One randomly selected player will be eligible for this 25 million gold payout. However, given the number of players of the game, you would have to be really lucky for that to happen now.
But, even if you are not lucky, you are still getting the 25,000 gold payout, along with 25 doubloons. So, there is still something right? Why say no to free currency? Even more, when all you have to do is just log in to the game. But, as said before, you would have to log in before October 26, 2021, at 7 PM IST to get these free 25,000 gold, and 25 doubloons.
25 million players is a remarkable feat for any game. Sea of Thieves has finally achieved it, then when you consider the underwater-themed Season 4 that is coming soon, it gets clear that Sea of Thieves player count is still nowhere near its top, and will most definitely grow even more in the future with the upcoming updates, and new content.
Sea of Thieves has always been a fun game to play with friends. There are not many games out there that let you live the life of a pirate in co-op out on the high seas, and Sea of Thieves does it. When it comes to co-op pirate games, it is simply one of the best, and the most popular ones. The player number just verifies that claim.
