Elden Ring is undoubtedly one of the biggest names when it comes to upcoming games. Many fans have been waiting for him. The game's release date had already been announced some time ago. However, a big confusion people had was whether the game would be available on Steam or not. Then, it got confirmed that it is also coming on Steam. However, now it seems that the release of the game is getting postponed.
Elden Ring’s release is not postponed all the way to February 2021. To be precise, the new release date that is announced by FromSoftware, the developer, is February 25, 2021. Initially, it was supposed to be released on January itself. But now, that is no longer the case. And, the players would be having to wait for an extra month. The studio, FromSoftware states that the game is in its final stages of development. And, that the depth and the strategic freedom of the game exceeded the final expectations that the team had initially.
This was announced by FromSoftware themselves in their tweet on October 18, 2021. This tweet mentions about a closed network test that is set to take place the next month. Those who want to participate in this test will have to sign up at Bandai Namco’s official site. However, there is a bummer here. This test is only for the console players, both the last generation, and the current generation. No PC players will be able to access this test sadly. Also, registration is free. However, registering does not guarantee a slot in the test it seems.
