So, it has been around a month or so that the Saints Row Reboot got announced. Reaction to a reboot was negative, to say the least. Fans were expecting a game that delves further into the Saints Row world as we know it consisting of Johnny Gatt and all other popular Saints that we have seen in the previous Saints Row games. However, this time around it is going to be a complete reboot with an entirely different set of characters, and also a completely new location, the state of Santo Ileso. Santo Ileso is a beautiful location with nine different districts, and each district has its unique setting and theme.
In the last trailer, we did get to see some gameplay for Saints Row reboot, however, it was not much. But, this time, we finally have a good look at the beautiful state of Santo Ileso. All of this is courtesy of the newest video that has been uploaded by Game Informer called Saints Row: Exclusive First Look At The World of Santo Ileso. Check it out below:
In the trailer we get to see the player riding a buggy through the rustic desert neighborhoods in the first part of the video, and even running over an NPC at one point. Anyway, next we move on to city streets that are filled with various buildings and various neon lights, and we even see a fire brigade van at one point with its siren on. Then, the scene shifts to the player standing on beside a river and getting the view of a city that consists of lots of tall buildings. And, in the next scene, we see the player walking through the streets of a new neighborhood that contains some large buildings. So, overall, this trailer is more about the world of Santo Also from the perspective of the players. Have to admit though, the title is totally apt.
Saints Row Reboot is releasing on February 25, 2021, and it seems that the closer we get to its release, the more we would be knowing about the game. But, from what we know so far, the open world of the Saints Row Reboot definitely seems to be one of the highlights for the game.
